In his early twenties, Kenneth Tan apprenticed under professional Japanese chefs in Nadaman, Shangri-La Hotel, notable for its fine traditional Japanese cuisine since 1830. He then understudied Sushi Master Chef Nogawa at Sushi Nogawa, the national pioneering sushi restaurant that has mentored numerous chefs of Singapore’s current leading Japanese restaurants.
Having been the head chef of multiple restaurants, his refined palate paved a new path of contemporary Japanese food creations that have been highly appreciated by many renown food critics in Singapore.
Holding over 25 years of culinary experience, he and co-founder Kenneth Koh continues a trail of delectable food creations with a new aspiration to serve quality Japanese food that offers incredible value for money at En Sushi.
